Parting

.
As all good times do, the Manchester visit came to its final day. Time to say goodbye to Tim and TJ. Thanks for such a nice place to stay and a great few days to reconnect! We miss you both!

Ritual

.
Breakfasts at the hotel were always great and the staff provided excellent customer service!

Now for a quiet moment ...

.
Places of solitude ...

The Valley Cemetery, Londonderry (1793)

Copps Hill Burying Ground, North End, Boston (1659)

Old Granary Burying Ground, Boston (1660)

The day just for Tim

Tim became another year older today. So, we all went out for the big meal and enjoyed good pizza at -- what was it? -- the 99 pizzeria, or something.

The interrogation. Really, all we wanted to know was what kind of pizza he wanted lol. Such drama!
Then, though too stuffed to bend over, we went back to the hotel and did the "Happy Birthday" and cake and ice cream thing and it was all sooo good! Boston Cream Pie, Brigham's vanilla ice cream (best on the planet) and their chocolate hot sauce --- all to DIE for!

How old are you now, Tim??

So Tim ...

Of course, DOD lent his expertise as a former Brigham's soda jerk to dole out the diggins ...

Nancy not amused???
